Nicole is a registered psychologist with a private practice in Armadale, Victoria. Nicole earned a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Tasmania, a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology from Swinburne University, and a Master of Psychology degree from Monash University. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Nicole has received training and is competent in delivering the following: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Compassionate Focused Therapy and Critical Incident Stress Management.

Nicole’s approach to therapy is primarily solution-oriented, considerate, and individualised. When combined with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, the recognised gold standard in treatment for many issues, a typical session is used to examine beliefs and approaches that aren’t working for the client, and to find creative and flexible ways to approach the problems. Nicole can both act as a sounding board, and she can provide information and constructive feedback to help clients understand their issues and develop ways to better respond to their needs. Together, you will address your difficulties and use your strengths to manage them, and using your point of view and values work towards your mutually identified goals.

Nicole demonstrates her effectiveness of treatment through appropriate ongoing measurement and maintains the use of evidenced based research to inform her practice.

Nicole is registered with Medicare, Private Health Insurers and Workcover.
