Nicole uses a number of evidence based therapeutic approaches. They include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Positive Psychology
Rates
Medicate Rebates
Since Nov 2006, Medicare under the Better Access scheme has provided rebates for clients who have a referral from their GP or Psychiatrist to a General Psychologist. The current rebate is $89.65 for each session. The number of sessions per year is 10.
Additional Medicare Sessions
In 2021 Medicare have allocated a further 10 sessions for clients. These will be available until the end of December 2022.
